Well, it appears that summer is finally here! All of New England has been battling rain and drizzle for the last 6 weeks, but the sun is shining now and things are starting to dry up. The lawns have appreciated all the rain, but I think that's about it.
Our daughter Lianne recently hosted her 14th birthday party at the lodge with 20 friends; everyone looks forward to the tubing and swimming in the cove (as well as the cake and ice cream) every year. I've attached a couple of photos...thankfully the river always keeps the kids busy enough so that they're not too much trouble to entertain. The addition of a horseshoe setup and a volleyball net has made the lodge more exciting (is that the right word?) for our friends and guests this year, though we've yet to enjoy a game ourselves!
